INTRODUCTION

Welcome friends this is your host Tracy Shoolman with today’s episode of the Gaia Translate podcast. NPR’s April 7th Morning Edition reported about scientific research performed by a scientist at the University of West of England analyzing the ways in which mushrooms communicate internally via  intricate electrical impulses.  According to the study, “ The shroom’s seem to use the electrical impulses to communicate internally, say about food or an injury. The impulse clusters are so intricate, they actually resemble words.” The results suggest a mushroom's electrical vocabulary may have about fifty words.
